It started as a script for monome norns called \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schollz\/oooooo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eoooooo\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (2020), evolved into similar scripts like  \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schollz\/acrostic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eacrostic\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (2021) and  \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schollz\/ouroboros-norns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eouroboros\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (2023) and was used in multiple \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nFcoU_jUIxo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eSuperCollider performances\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (2024), and eventually a JACK client called \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schollz\/oooooooo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eoooooooo\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (2025). This style of tool has been utilized for three Infinite Digits albums: \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/infinitedigits.bandcamp.com\/album\/generations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003egenerations\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/infinitedigits.bandcamp.com\/album\/at-the-place\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003eat the place\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/infinitedigits.bandcamp.com\/album\/for-the-theatre-of-the-flat-imagination\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003efor the theatre of the flat imagination\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n                    \u003cp\u003eThe core of this instrument are digital tape loops that can be created, destroyed, recorded and played, be leveled, paned, slowed, sped up, shortened, lengthened, overdubed, destroyed, warbled, blown out. Every parameter has an LFO. It also includes features I use a lot in my own music practice: the ability to play loops like a mellotron with MIDI or the \u003ca href=\"\/docs\/#grid\"\u003emonome grid\u003c\/a\u003e, and a stereo version of my favorite reverb from Dattorro's effect design \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/ccrma.stanford.edu\/~dattorro\/EffectDesignPart1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"outlink-label\"\u003epaper\u003c\/span\u003e \u003ci class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt outlink-icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n                    \u003cp\u003eUse the oooo tool as a standalone instrument or within a DAW.
